What does fabric density mean and why is it important?

Fabric density refers to how many threads are packed into a specific area, usually measured in threads per centimeter or inch. A higher density typically means stronger fabric that will last longer and resist wear better. Density also affects how the fabric looks – it can make fabric more opaque or transparent, which is particularly important for things like curtains. Our fabrics feature 132 stitches per centimeter and use a very fine warp of 50 dn, allowing for highly detailed designs.
