How are Sarelli Interiors Textiles textile collections organized?

Sarelli Interiors Textiles organizes the company inventory into 38 distinct textile collections based on classical Italian design motifs. Each specific collection groups complementary jacquards, geometric patterns, and solid plains to provide interior designers with cohesive material options for residential projects.

The Sarelli catalog structure organizes over 600 individual fabric SKUs into 38 primary groups to simplify the selection process for interior designers. The Fabrics Collection assigns classical Italian names to every collection to identify the specific historical design era and the primary weaving technique used during production.

Composition of a Standard Sarelli Textile Collection

A standard Sarelli textile collection contains between 12 and 24 specific fabric variants designed to function together within a single room. The collection structure guarantees exact color matching across different patterns and fabric weights within the specific variant group.

Every Sarelli collection features one primary jacquard fabric that establishes the dominant visual motif. Sarelli designers then create three to five coordinating fabrics featuring floral, striped, or geometric patterns that share the exact warp thread colors of the primary jacquard. Finally, the collection includes up to eight solid plain fabrics. The solid plains match the background colors of the patterned fabrics exactly. Sarelli maintains a standard weight range across the collections. The primary jacquards typically weigh between 350 GSM and 450 GSM. The coordinating Fabrics often feature lighter constructions weighing between 250 GSM and 300 GSM.

Fabric Type Average Variants per Collection Typical Weight (GSM) Primary Function
Primary Jacquard 1 to 2 350 – 450 GSM Main drapery or upholstery
Coordinating Patterns 3 to 5 250 – 350 GSM Secondary accents
Solid Plains 6 to 8 200 – 300 GSM Complementary surfaces

Colorways and Metallic Yarn Integration

Sarelli produces each of the 38 textile collections in five to six standard background colorways. The Sarelli dyeing facility processes the warp threads to achieve precise color consistency across all fabrics within a specific collection.

Sarelli weavers frequently integrate metallic yarns into the patterned fabrics to create reflective accents. The production team uses gold or silver Lurex threads that comprise exactly 5% to 8% of the total fabric weight. The Production Methods used for the metallic accents require specialized loom settings running at 200 picks per minute to prevent thread breakage. Sarelli tests the metallic-accented fabrics to withstand 25,000 Martindale rub cycles before showing visible wear.

Customization Requirements for Sarelli Collections

Sarelli Interiors Textiles offers custom color matching for any existing collection when clients meet specific minimum order quantities. The Sarelli production facility requires a minimum order of 50 linear meters to initiate a custom dyeing process.

Interior designers can request specific Pantone color matches for the background warp threads or the pattern weft threads. The Sarelli laboratory requires 14 days to produce a physical strike-off sample for client approval. Once the client approves the strike-off sample, the full production run requires a lead time of 45 to 60 days. Custom color modifications do not alter the fundamental Fabrics Composition of the selected collection. Clients can view standard collection samples and discuss custom requirements at the Sarelli Showroom located in Italy.
