Sarelli Textiles Warranty Coverage For Light Curtains And Fabrics

Sarelli Interiors Textiles provides a standard two-year warranty on all light curtain fabrics and sheer textiles against structural manufacturing defects, covering specific production faults including irregular yarn tension, dye lot inconsistencies exceeding 5 percent, and weaving errors in fabrics weighing between 50 GSM and 150 GSM.

The Sarelli warranty applies strictly to materials maintained according to the official Sarelli care guidelines. Sarelli guarantees the structural integrity of sheer fabrics woven from linen, silk, and Trevira CS blends under normal interior residential or commercial conditions. If a client identifies a weaving defect within 24 months of delivery, Sarelli replaces the affected yardage at zero cost to the buyer. The warranty excludes damage caused by direct ultraviolet light exposure exceeding 1,000 hours annually, improper dry cleaning processes, or physical alterations made after the fabric leaves the Sarelli facility.

Specific Manufacturing Defects Covered By The Sarelli Warranty

The Sarelli warranty protects buyers against specific mechanical and chemical faults originating from the Italian milling process, including warp thread breakage, weft misalignment exceeding 3 centimeters per linear meter, and colorfastness failures below a rating of 4 on the ISO 105-B02 scale.

Sarelli produces light curtains using precise production methods that minimize structural flaws. However, the warranty activates if a client receives fabric containing more than two weaving knots per 10 square meters. Sarelli also covers dimensional stability issues where fabrics shrink more than 3 percent after the first professional dry cleaning cycle. Clients must report these specific dimensional faults within 30 days of the cleaning process to qualify for a full replacement.

Warranty Exclusions For Sheer Fabrics And Light Curtains

The Sarelli warranty explicitly excludes damage resulting from environmental factors, improper maintenance, and standard physical degradation over time, specifically denying coverage for fabric deterioration caused by high humidity environments exceeding 70 percent relative humidity or physical tears resulting from incorrect drapery hardware installation.

Natural variations inherent to specific fabrics composition profiles do not qualify as manufacturing defects. For example, slubs in 100 percent linen sheer curtains or slight color variations between different production batches of 12 momme silk do not trigger warranty coverage. Sarelli requires clients to inspect all textiles upon receipt. If a client cuts or alters the fabric before reporting a defect, the Sarelli warranty immediately voids. Sarelli recommends consulting the sheer fabrics production specifications before installation to ensure the selected textile matches the intended environmental conditions.

How To Submit A Sarelli Fabric Warranty Claim

Clients must submit all warranty claims directly to the Sarelli customer service department within the 24-month coverage window by providing the original purchase invoice, three high-resolution photographs demonstrating the specific fabric defect, and a detailed written description of the issue.

Upon receiving a complete warranty claim, the Sarelli technical team evaluates the evidence within 5 business days. If Sarelli approves the claim, the company ships replacement fabric within 14 to 21 business days, depending on current mill inventory levels. Sarelli covers all standard shipping costs for approved replacement textiles within the European Union. International clients outside the EU must pay local import duties and taxes on replacement shipments.
